Anne brings 30 years of education to writing. She’s worked as a teacher in KS1-4, Head of English, advisory consultant, and as member of SLT in the secondary sector as Director of Humanities.

When she's not writing, Anne is still directly involved with the UK's education sector, working as an Education Consultant specialising in school improvement. She also works with the National Literacy Trust and other organisations to raise education and literary standards for all age ranges.

As an advocate of getting children writing, Anne has worked with primary schools throughout London to host story competitions, such as the better-known Pen to Print competition.

Anne always enjoys meeting her readers and loves to be involved in their work – you can find her at many festivals throughout the UK, such as Latitude, where she hosts activities inspired by her books.

Enjoy Anne's books – get yours from her shop or major retailers such as Waterstones and Amazon.
